Workshop IV, Learning for a sustainable Development

This workshop was held on October 11-13, 2007 at the Museum of World Culture, Gothenburg, Sweden


Welcome to the workshop Learning for a sustainable Development. The Laboratory will gather about 40 persons - educators, researchers, cultural workers and activists, including international guests from Africa, Asia and Europe. The participants have practical as well as theoretical backgrounds.

In the Laboratory, the theme Learning for Sustainable Development will be viewed in three different and mutually complementary perspectives:

  1. Learning through liberal adult education and social movements
  2. Learning through academic studies and research
  3. Learning through cultural heritage institutions

 

The workshop will be held at the Museum of World Culture, in Göteborg, Sweden from October 11th to October 13th .

The format

The workshop contains open and closed parts. Open attendance at the workshop will be possible at Thursday October 11th between 09.00 and 15.30 and on Saturday October 13th between 15.00 and 17.00 (please see schedule).

There will be room for 75 guests at the open parts of the workshop.
