In the University of Gothenburg strategies for research, eight priority research areas have been identified as strong within their fields. These areas are particularly targeted as strategically important to stimulate innovative and creative research with interdisciplinary profiles and of high international standard. The Faculty of Education is the administrative host of one of these priority research areas: Learning.
The research initiative in the learning sciences is called The LETStudio - The Learning and Media Technology Studio. The LETStudio was granted 15 MSEK for the period 2010-2012 and engages about 25 researchers from six faculties.
