Education at the Faculty

The programmes and research within the Faculty of Education can be described as a field that concerns people and their everyday lives. Education, leisure time and home are tied together within the programmes and within research.

The departments offer approximately 150 courses and following programmes:

• Sports Coaching Programme
• Special Education Programme
• Food Service Management Programme
• Diet and Health Programme
• Restaurant Management Programme
• Special Education Teacher Programme
• Teacher Education Programme, limited parts

Master Programmes in:

• Pedagogy, different specializations
• Food and Nutrition, Food Service Management, Home Economics and Crafts

Since autumn 2007 all programmes are divided into undergraduate and advanced levels. This is in accordance with the Higher Education Reform of 2007 that is connected with the Bologna Process – an agreement with 45 European countries to raise the quality and increase internationalization of higher education.
