The Grundtvig Institute at the University of Gothenburg

The Grundtvig Institute is a dynamic meeting place for dialogue and collaboration between University departments, organisations and individuals involved in adult education. These include, for instance, the folk high schools in the Western Götaland region. The objective is to promote discussion and cooperation on issues that concern knowledge development and democracy. One important aim is to open up the University to the surrounding community and make it available to people with broad social and cultural competence and background.

The Grundtvig Institute is part of the Unit for Human Resources at the University of Gothenburg.
